They chose middle head for their ceremony, surrounded by family and friends who had travelled from the UK to be there and were enjoying the stunning views of Sydney harbour.

We photographed one of Emily's bridesmaids wedding a while back so it was an extra special day catching up with her and we were delighted she had recommended us to Emily.

After the ceremony, we took some relaxed and fun photos around middle head and Chowder Bay, making the most of the spectacular location.

Their beautiful reception was held at Sergeants Mess. Emily's flowers were by Plumbago flowers and Emily's make up by the very talented Christina Cleary.

The ceremony and reception were held at Royal Sydney Golf Club.

Georgie's stunning wedding dress was by wedding designer of the moment, Johanna Johnson with shoes by Jimmy Choo.

After the ceremony we took some photographs in the grounds of the golf club and then moved to the nearby esplanade at Rose Bay for some more romantic photographs with just Georgie and Chris.

One of our favourite stylists, Kate White from Katering was responsible for the very elegant spring style of the wedding and her exceptional taste and attention to detail showed throughout.

Heartfelt, funny and emotional speeches filled the reception and the relaxed and fun atmosphere continued into the evening with dancing and plenty of laughter.

It's always exciting to have our work chosen to be featured in a magazine but a cover is extra special!

The photograph is from the wedding of Ricky and Amy which was held at the Gibraltar Hotel in Bowral, a luxury hotel with stunning views across the Bowral countryside.

Ricky is the son of the amazing Stephanie Friedlander, wedding stylist and owner of Styled by Sting. The styling of this special wedding was perfect and everyone appreciated the attention to detail, especially the bride and groom.

The reception was catered by our good friends at Passion 8 Catering and as usual they provided a spectactular menu for the guests.

Country weddings are always a favourite with the natural backdrop making beautiful photographs. I love the contrast between Amy and the flower girl's white dresses and the green of Bowral.

Milena and Kon's wedding at Vaucluse House Tea Rooms was a relaxed and informal occassion blessed by the recent unpredictable weather holding off and the sun coming out.

The couple had put so much detail into the day especially in their choice of flowers which were all native and perfect for a spring wedding.

Vaucluse House is always an amazing backdrop for photographs with its lush gardens and relaxed atmosphere.

Milena is Jewish so the reception was a lot of fun with traditional Hora dancing, lots of clapping and laughter. Milena and Kon's attention to detail ensured their family and friends enjoyed the day as much as they did.

Melina and Jasen were married at St Catherine's Greek Church in Mascot. The incredible decoration inside the church gave their ceremony photos a really rich and colourful backdrop.

Before arriving at the reception, we took some photos at Balmain oval in honour of Jasen's favourite team, the Balmain Tigers. Melina and Jasen and their bridal party were so enthusiastic and we had a lot of fun, capturing some really different shots and the spirit of the day.

Everyone at the wedding made me feel very welcome and one of the highlights for me was the dancing during the reception at Le Montage in Leichhardt. A mix of greek and lebanese dancing made for some very funny moments with the lebanese guys trying their hand at some traditional greek dancing.

It was a pleasure working with George from Eurovideo, who was their videoographer.

Chris Buechner is one half of anduuml;ber photography, Sydneyandrsquo;s award winning boutique studio.

With an Advanced Diploma in Photography and many years of experience as a photographer Chris achieves the best results from every situation.

His experience is broad with a particular focus on weddings, commercial, corporate and contemporary boudoir photography.

Chrisandrsquo;s love of photography and obvious talent has seen him grow a successful boutique studio with wife Kate and win several industry awards for his work including

Australian APPA Awards and NSW AIPP Awards and being voted one of Australiaandrsquo;s Top 10 wedding photographers by Capture Magazine in 2010.

Chris recently started focusing his skills on contemporary boudoir photography for women and this is a rapidly expanding area of the business.

Chris is a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP), the governing body for photography, which encourages professional standards and conduct.

I loved their enthusiasm throughout the day and I was able to create some really interesting and original images.

Michela and Simon put together a stylish and memorable day for their family and friends with a traditional ceremony held at St Stephen's Willoughby and a reception at Waterfront restaurant with stunning views across Sydney harbour.

For this vintage inspired shoot, Michela borrowed her grandma's dress she bought in Hawai in the 20's. I think we did her grandmother proud.

Can't wait for the wedding day.

Weeks of debating which images to enter in what category, how to print it, how to present it etc and the final rush to get the images printed and matted all came together at the APPA's.

In the end I entered 4 images under the Wedding Open category. Rather than going for traditional images I submitted the kind of images that I love capturing, quirky, unusual, different and hopefully memorable.

In the end I was awarded with 3 silver awards.

Congrats to all the category winners and a huge thanks to all the judges and everyone who worked so hard to make the APPAs run smoothly. You know how you are :)

It was nice to get out of Sydney for a wedding. This was a central coast wedding with the ceremony at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kincumber and the reception at the Reef restaurant, Terrigal right on the beach.

Rachel and Tim were so much fun to photograph, and we had a great time with their bridal party for photos. It was a pleasure to be part of such a special day.

Their guests really hit the dance floor at the end of the night.

The church was beautiful and there were loads of great locations to photograph and all within a really short distance. We had planned to go to a few different locations but in the end we stayed around the old blast furnace and we could easily have stayed longer because there were so many cool spots to use.

The whole day was nice and relaxed and had a really nice vibe about it.

We have so many amazing photos to share. We thought we would start with a couple of sneak peeks.

One from their wedding day.

And one from their day aftershoot.

They wanted to have fun with the photos on their wedding day and so rather than jump in a limo they decided to catch public transport i.e. the train to get to the reception; taking lots of photos along the way.

Their brief to me was to do anything unusual, weird etc so I pretty much just did what came natural to me :-)

After the wedding ceremony we walked from Obervatory Hill to Circular Quay to catch the train, taking photos along the way.

They caused quite a stir as they were getting on and off trains.

From Milsons Point we headed down to Luna Park and from there to Aqua Dining for the wedding reception.

So it was even more special when we entered the NSW AIPP awards this year and took home some awards.

Kate's passion has always been photographing families. So when the AIPP introduced the 'Family' category for the first time in NSW Kate was determined to enter and do well.

So it was awesome when Kate was announced as the NSW AIPP FAMILY PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2011. I was so proud of her to have been recognized for something she is so passionate about.

I focused on the wedding category and for the first time entered into the wedding album category.

I was stoked to receive a silver awards for one of my wedding images and another silver award for one of my wedding albums.

The wedding album I entered is one of our regular sample albums from the studio.

Right now we are still pretty excited but already looking forward to the National AIPP awards.
